DON'T ACCEPT THE NARRATIVE, STRIVE FOR
UNCERTAINTY & CHANGE.

HI, MY

NAME IS IGI.

In this section, I want to talk about health, & why health is crucial for humans and the planet, which I will demonstrate on a few simple examples related to my own life and experiences. But essentially, this is not about me. It’s about the message I support.

To understand where I’m coming from, we have to travel back to mid 80's & early 90's, all the way to beautiful Croatia. Born in Rijeka, on the Croatian coast, my family moved to the country side shortly after my birth. To my luck, I grew up the first few years of my life surrounded by nature & fresh air, consuming natural unprocessed foods, which helped me to develop a strong immune system. I spent my early childhood in a tiny village called Novo Selija until the Balkan Wars struck the region and forced us out of this idyll.

Today, I’m thankful for the chance that it bore—for I believe that every situation offers new opportunities which can be transformed into something positive. So we fled to Germany and were lucky to have a relatively decent life in a German small town.

SOMETIMES YOU LEARN

THE HARD WAY.

Soon, however, I was plagued by health issues, due to an excessive consumption of sweets and fast food. Because I was genetically predisposed to develop a poor dental health—I was also neglecting my dental care & eating unhealthy foods—I spent my early teenage years at medical practices undergoing painful dental procedures. And within only a few years, I already counted eleven amalgam fillings in my mouth.

Today, I know why my health started to decline during my teenage years. While I had previously developed strong antibodies & was always physically active, playing team sports (football/ soccer), the poor food choices and insufficient supply of micronutrients continued to leave a mark on my body.

As a teenager, around the age of fifteen, I started to develop a severe form of acne, which I was only able to reduce to a minimum in the past years. But back then, I was told not to be alarmed, that my acne was completely normal. Why would I question the credibility of my doctors?

In my first post-war vacation at the Croatian coast, I was sixteen at the time, I had a first minuscule moment of reflection. Sun & sea water caused my body to detox heavily and my back was overrun by a hellish acne—you’ve never seen anything like it. My back, top to bottom, was completely covered in pimples. With the knowledge I have today about body processes, that kind of extreme breakout is to be expected. Back then, I had no clue what was happening to me; clearly, I was irritated & afraid.

So at a young age, several Health issues manifested in my body—as happens to most humans during early life. The first problem that occurred, caused by a bad lifestyle, were bowel/ digestive problems. The latter was caused by an excess of toxins in my body, especially from the synthetic mercury in my amalgam fillings. The detoxification via the gut was blocked and my body had to find another vent: the skin. Today, my back is hundred percent acne-free. I only get the occasional pimple on my face.

At the same age (fifteen/ sixteen), I made a poor life choice by starting to drink alcohol. Though I knew I had the talent to be a professional football/ soccer player, which I was eager to become, regular partying & the consumption of alcohol limited my potential. My physical fitness didn't develop fast enough, and I suffered from a lack of motivation and brain fog—consequently, my metal capacity was hemmed, too. It was a process that continued up to my twentieth birthday, when I finally realized that I had wasted my best chance to become a pro athlete. At the time, I wasn’t able to fully reflect that my failure was determined by my Health condition. I stopped playing football/ soccer & carried on, looking for an alternative path. I had no goal, no dreams, no motivation—& my health, of course, kept declining. But overall I was ok enough. And with time, I started to reflect & question my situation as well as my past behavior. I switched from soda & other soft drinks to water and introduced a (what I thought at the time) more beneficial diet. I continued to party and drink alcohol though on the weekends…The next seven to eight years of my life flew by unnoticed. I graduated from secondary school, completed an apprenticeship, & earned a university degree—I didn’t care about any of these accomplishments. For most of those years, I was stuck in my childhood room, still living at my parent’s house, no idea what to do with this life.

Eventually, I moved into the big city & took an odd job I ended up working in for the next three years.

Knowledge is key

But it gave me time to reevaluate my situation and I pondered a lot about my life and life in general. Finally, I came to understand that whatever happened, reconnecting with nature and regular exercise were essential for my future path.

So at thirty, I went back to university & enrolled in a field that was supposed to lead me on the right track: sports sciences. In the following three years, I turned my life upside down & made health the focus of my personal and professional life. The studies taught me the functions & processes of the human body/ system & how to research information effectively. I used this knowledge to educate myself further in natural medicine & holistic Health. I immersed myself in the academic & practical study of the body & tried out a number of different therapies & diets on myself and my first clients who had consulted me for help. I achieved to improve both our conditions. I’m eager to continue helping to heal.

Our modern technologies have become vastly influential in ways that today, humans alone are able to decide the complete destruction or continuation of our planet. Thus, it is absolutely vital that humans are in good physical & mental conditions in order to be able to make healthy decisions that ultimately concern global health. Reflecting my own story & recognizing the causality between my life choices and my health issues, I finally understood what it actually means to be healthy. But mine is only one of myriad everyday examples in which people suffer from various illnesses & are desperate to feel relief & ease, to be free from pain—to be healthy.

“Health means Freedom.” I wholeheartedly believe in this maxim.

As a specialist in holistic Health, my expertise covers professional & hobby sport, knowledge about nutrition (ideal human nourishment), & orthomolecular medicine (effects of highly dosed nutrients on human Health). My choice of diet is plant-based & focuses on invigorating substances; it foregrounds somatic processes (own body perception). My dietary suggestions, however, are dogma-free & fitted to the specific & individual needs of each person.

“Science is the current state of error” (original quote by Eckart von Hirschhausen: “Wissenschaft ist der aktuelle Stand des Irrtums”)—which is why I’m constantly open to school & educate myself about new findings & methods used in the fields of natural medicine, sports, nutrition, quantum physics, biochemistry, & herbal medicine. So I continue to expand my horizon and challenge myself & my clients to find the best natural therapies to improve our health.

I don’t allow myself to rust—neither should you!
